a true story
CLASSIC FRENCH CARS were also highlighted on BASTILLE DAY!
Handsome owned a similiar French Traction Avante in the ’60s, costing only £90 ($270) . It was brilliant until the car broke down on his way to work one day. With great haste, he bought another vehicle for £35, making the offshore helicopter flight!

Off The Wall
During the Bastille Day celebration, the ROUNDHOUSE WINDOW Gallery featured THE PEOPLE by artist WEN WEN LU.
Creating something of value from nearly worthless discarded magazines, Wen Wen’s extraordinary art was powerful, humorous and stunningly beautiful.

Handsome’s Gallic Day Outfit
Remaking an
Old Navy jacket as an ode to the preppy British rowing blazers was my intention.
Hand sewing the grey textured trim by following the edges of collar, pockets and cuffs fancified his jacket.

Handsome’s brooch was gifted by New Orleans’ Big Dave. Little Dave is another story.
The fleur-de-lis is a stylized lily (in French, fleur means "flower", and lis means "lily”).
